As you may well know, the Moss Point Tigers are back to back state champions. This is the first time in Mississippi that a team has ever won back to back championships in class 5A football. Last year when the Tigers won the championship, I don't feel that the community provided them with the glory they deserved. I feel that it is imperative that we as responsible adults encourage our youth to strive to achieve their very best. However, once they achieve their very best we must provide them with the incentive to strive to be even better human beings. I have always been a strong supporter of athletics at Moss Point High School and now I think it is time to reward each player, coach, and manager that worked relentlessly this year to achieve an overall goal of being the best football team in Mississippi for yet another year. I have taken on the task along with my colleagues to ensure that the 1997-98 Moss Point High football team is rewarded greatly. We plan to provide these prestige athletes with rings, trophies, jackets, shirts, etc. Addidas if there is anyway that you can provide a service to this team or if you know of someone who can please do so.
